(The below is the job board that will be posted in the tavern this weekend. Don't forget to only take one at a time when you pull them off the board please )
A well known farmer, Jessup McCraggle, and his family have barricaded themselves in their barn after being attacked by some sort of “clock men” that were tearing up their fields. Some of the neighbors have tried to help, but the clock men are tough, and seem only interested in getting at McCraggle and his kin. The farmer will likely pay well for he and his family to be rescued.
Baron Tolmydian has requested that several of the newly unattended feral groves be tamed and attended to. It seems that many new groves have appeared as growth in the area has burgeoned with the recent cleansing of the void. As such, while innocent, the creatures and even the plantlife within, seem to be quite aggressive… There are three known groves as such and directions to each can be given by the Loremaster on your way out of town.
A massive humanoid made of cogs, gears, whistles, and wogs has been spotted in the eastern vale! Whatever it is, something’s gone terribly wrong with it and it’s wreaking havoc in it’s path! Luckily, it’s path seems rather irregular...and slow… It is doing some damage though, and the Baron has requested that someone resolve the issue.
A pack of goblins have escaped the local jail near the Caladore docks. Apparently they were notable enough goblins to be jailed and not just killed on the spot. They’ve taken over, “The Flagellant Trout,” a local establishment of ill repute and apparently are holding several townspeople captive. The Baron has requested that someone resolve the issue.
The Black Claw Gnoll Tribe has holed up in some ruins that were apparently unearthed in the civil war recovery efforts. They haven’t been hostile to the surrounding peasantry, but children have started to go missing and rumor is that there’s some kind of connection. The families of the missing children will pay well for any information leading to their return…
The sewers near the Caladore docks have all of a sudden become overrun with giant rats! Rumor has it that a group of seafaring vessels, bearing the crest of the Black Sun, recently took port nearby and the rats traveled across the sea on their boats. They have bred so quickly that now it isn’t even safe to set foot in the sewers. They must be cleared out and the Baron is paying well for the task to be done.
The Baron’s guards have uncovered what appears to be a safehouse for an as yet unidentified organized group of criminals. The location is in the basement of what was previously thought to be an abandoned farm house. The problem is, the basement seems to be heavily trapped beyond any of the guards’ capabilities. The Baron is paying well for someone to safely clear out the traps and determine what’s inside.
The Captain of the Guard in the docks district is paying for a group of adventurers to swim into the waters of the port and down into a cluster of shipwrecks left over from wartime. Apparently some sort of “scaled-slithery-fanged-folk” has taken up residence in the wrecks and has made the port extremely unsafe for fisherman and pleasure cruisers. The guard captain has acquired a great many underwater breathing potions that he will provide to the group that goes.
Kellexor of the Wayfarer’s guild has sent word that three magical pillars of varying colors have been discovered on a hilltop outside of town. It is thought that there was until recently, a wayfarer’s stone on said hilltop. It seems that three pillars work in conjunction with each other somehow, but no one has been able to discern much more. The Wayfarer’s Guild will pay well to anyone that can come up with answers.
